Hagstrom "A New Generation" - 1969 - 1983

In 1969 the first Hagstrom HIIN appears witch indicates that a new generation Hagstrom guitars are taking over. This generation have more a powerfull sound with their humbucker pick ups and a more user friendly control layout with two volume and two tone controls and a tree way pick up selector instead of the earlier slide switches with pre-set tone choices.

H II N, H II N OT, 1969-1976. Known colors: black, cherry, sunburst, brownburst and natural mahogany

H III / Scandi, 1976-1980. Known colors: sunburst, white, natural ash, translucent red, purple and some custom finish.

Partner, 1979. Known colors: red with red or natural neck and head stock.

Swede, 1970-1982. Known colors: natural mahogany, cherry red, black and white.

Swede Patch - Patch 2000, 1976-1977. Known colors: natural mahogany

Swede De Luxe, Super Swede, 1977-1983. Known colors: Maple version - golden sunburst, tobacco brown, wine red, white and natural wood. Mahogany version - natural wood, cherry red and some custom finishes.

Ultra Swede, 1983. The Ultra Swede is recorded in the production log as a part of batch 53 078, but all the Ultra Swede guitars was built in Japan and don't have any official serial numbers. Known colors: purple.
